KIEV, Jan. 24 - U.S. companies Boeing and Orbital Launch System Group are considering joining a project to develop Ukraine's first telecommunications satellite.

The leadership of the Ukrainian National Space Agency met with senior officials of the U.S. firms during a recent visit of the Ukrainian agency's delegation to the United States to discuss the prospects for cooperation as part of the project, an agency spokesman told Interfax.
