KYIV, Oct 4 – The Verkhovna Rada's Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy Committee has recommended that parliament approve the revised bill No. 11416-d at its second reading, which proposes raising the war levy from 1.5% to 5% and increasing several other taxes and levies.

According to information shared on Telegram by the committee's first deputy chairman, Yaroslav Zhelezniak (from the Holos party), the bill received the support of 19 committee members, with three abstentions and one voting against it.
