KYIV, Oct 3 – International retailer JYSK has invested approximately 400 million UAH in expanding its Ukrainian network from 2022-2024 and plans to open 12 new stores in 2025, announced JYSK Ukraine's Country Director, Yevhen Ivanitsa, at a press conference on Wednesday.
"Twenty years ago, the first franchise store for Scandinavian home goods opened in Kyiv's Vydubychi. In October 2012, JYSK bought out the franchise and began developing its own network in Ukraine. Today, we operate 100 stores in 35 cities across Ukraine. We have invested around UAH 400 million since the full-scale invasion, opening 20 stores, renovating 17, and restoring six," Ivanitsa said.
