KYIV, Sept 25 – The Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) may be facing a nuclear ‘event’, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said, adding that Russia has destroyed all Ukrainian thermal power plants and most part of hydroelectric power plants.

"The Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant is currently occupied by the Russian troops. Unfortunately, it is under threat of a nuclear event. It is the main source of radiation hazard in Europe and, probably, the world. That is why the first item in the Peace Formula presented by me is nuclear security," he said at the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.
