KYIV, Sept 25 – Scientific and Production Enterprise Energo-plus, which previously announced its intention to relocate a new 60 MW thermal power plant from Türkiye to Ukraine, is seeking a private investor willing to cover its EUR 50 million cost and 50–70% of the expenses for moving the plant, according to Director Yevhen Korf.
"We are currently in the early stages of the project and actively negotiating with the seller and a partner company that will handle the relocation of the power plant to Ukraine. The main challenge is that the plant owner insists on 100% payment upfront. Meanwhile, our Turkish partners are ready to dismantle the plant, transport the equipment, and install it in Ukraine, but they want a 50–70% prepayment for their services," Korf said.
