KYIV, Sept 18 – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expended its nuclear safety assistance to Ukraine as well as support for the completion of the construction of power units 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has said on Wednesday.
"Met with Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko at the IAEA General Conference to update on progress since my talks with President [of Ukraine Volodymyr] Zelenskyy earlier this month. The IAEA widened nuclear safety assistance and support of Ukraine's plans to use equipment from Bulgaria Belene project for Khmelnytsky 3 and 4," he said on the X social network.
