KYIV, Sept 13 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has raised its forecast for the wheat crop in Ukraine in the 2024/2025 marketing year (MY, July 2024/June 2025) by one million tons, or 7.1%, to 15 million tons.
As stated in the USDA’s September report on Thursday, this revision was made due to an increase in the crop estimate from 21.6 million tons to 22.3 million tons, as well as a decrease in the domestic consumption estimate from 7.4 million tons to 7 million tons.
