KYIV, Sept 12 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as part of expanding its risk-sharing facilities, is providing guarantees to four Ukrainian banks for issuing loans worth a total of EUR 690 million to Ukraine's critical industries.
According to an EBRD press release on Thursday, the facilities will cover new loans from state-owned PrivatBank and Ukrgasbank for up to EUR 400 million and EUR 150 million, respectively, as well as Kredobank for EUR 100 million and Bank Lviv for EUR 30 million.
