KYIV, Aug 26 - There is no threat to the dam of the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), which is situated in Vyshgorod, Kyiv region, after a Russian attack on Monday morning, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko has said.

"Regarding the dam of the Kyiv HPP, there are no threats. It is impossible to destroy it with missiles. It should not be compared with Kherson region [the dam of the Kakhovka HPP in Nova Kakhovka], where there was an explosion from inside. The Russians are informationally using this topic to stir up panic, no more," he said on the Telegram channel on Monday.
