KYIV, Aug 26 - The installed capacity of alternative energy enterprises sun, water, biogas in Zhytomyr region has already exceeded 240 MW and will increase by another 53 MW by the end of the year, head of the regional military administration Vitaliy Bunechko said.

"By the end of this year, it is planned to increase the following capacities: cogeneration stations 30 MW, wind generation 3 MW and solar 20 MW," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
