CHISINAU, Aug 22 – Germany is closely monitoring the situation amid Kyiv's operation in Kursk region, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said, adding that Berlin will not stop financial support for Ukraine.

Ukraine began its operation in Kursk region in a secretive atmosphere. This is a very limited operation in terms of space and probably in terms of time, the chancellor said at a joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu in Chisinau on August 21.
