KYIV, Aug 13 – One potential problematic issue in continuing the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine could be the need to sign hand-over documents under the foreign economic contract at the end of the month, according to Serhiy Makohon, former head of the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU).
"The only problem I foresee is the signing of the documents at the end of the month because these documents must be backed by printouts from the meters. If there is no access to this information, it could be quite challenging or risky to sign," Makohon said during a press conference at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center on Tuesday.
