KYIV, Aug 13 – The growth rate of foreign currency loans to legal entities in July for the first time since October last year exceeded the growth rate of hryvnia loans: 1.8%, respectively, to $6 billion and 1.1%, to UAH 557.57 billion, according to statistics from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to it, the interest rate on loans to businesses in national currency increased by 1.3 percentage points last month – to 16.5% per annum, while in foreign currency – by 0.7 percentage points, to 7.4%.
