KYIV, Aug 12 – The probable cause of the fire at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) could be the negligence of Russian occupiers or deliberate arson, but no violations of safety boundaries or conditions of safe operation have been detected, according to the state-owned Energoatom.
"There are no violations of safety boundaries or conditions. No excessive levels of radioactive emissions or discharges have been recorded. The likely cause is the negligence of the Russian occupiers or deliberate arson of the cooling tower by them," Energoatom said in a statement.
