KYIV, Aug 9 – The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has announced on Friday additional security assistance to meet Ukraine's critical security and defense needs.
"This Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package, which has an estimated value of $125 million, will provide Ukraine additional capabilities to meet its most urgent needs, including: air defense capabilities; multi-mission radars to detect and counter enemy artillery; and anti-tank weapons," the Pentagon said on its website, adding that this is the 63rd tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021.
