KYIV, Aug 9 – The transit of oil and gas from the Russian Federation through the territory of Ukraine enables the Russian military machine to operate, and accordingly, this must be stopped, head of the President's Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said.

"From a more political position of security, I can say that, of course, today everything that enables the Russian military machine to operate must be stopped," Yermak said in an interview with European Pravda, answering the question of whether Ukraine should stop the transit of Russian oil and gas.
