KYIV, Aug 8 – There are no specific proposals yet on possible transit of Azerbaijani gas through Ukraine after the end of the transit contract with Russia at the beginning of 2025, but it is quite possible that they may appear, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.

"To date, there is no specific proposal on the contract for the transit of Azerbaijani gas... I always say that we need to have a specific document on the table. Until there is a specific proposal that can be discussed, I believe that it is too early to comment on anything at all... When possible initiatives turn into practical proposals, then we will talk," Haluschenko said in a commentary to Energy Reform during a visit to the Khmelnytsky NPP.
