KYIV, Aug 7 – The largest Ukrainian chain of stores in the one dollar store format Avrora intends to open 400 new stores by the end of the current year and reach 2,000 outlets in Ukraine by the end of the next, CEO of the chain Taras Panasenko said.
"In June, we opened 40 stores, in July - 24, and in August there will be more than 30. The plan for this year is 400 stores, we are basically fulfilling it. Today, together with the Romanian stores, we have already exceeded the figure of 1,500 outlets, of which 25 are in Romania and more than 1,480 in Ukraine. The plan in Ukraine is 2,500 stores. I think that at the end of next year we will definitely exceed 2,000, and in 2026 we will reach the goal," Panasenko said at the Business Breakfast by Forbes Ukraine on Wednesday.
