KYIV, Aug 5 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has slightly improved the harvest forecast for this year: grain - from 50.3 million tons to 50.7 million tons and oilseeds - from 20.6 million tons to 20.7 million tons, but has significantly worsened it for the next two years.
"In 2024, the harvest estimate has been improved due to larger than expected sown areas. In the future, harvest volumes will gradually increase, although more slowly than previously expected," the NBU Inflation Report for July says on its website.
