KYIV, Aug 1 – Electricity imports in July 2024 decreased by 2% compared to the previous month to 842 million kWh, exports were absent the entire month, D.Trading LLC said.

"In July 2024, Ukraine remains a net importer of electricity. The heat that came to Ukraine significantly increased the deficit in the energy system, so imports remained at a high level. Its slight decrease compared to June was due to the growth of prices for electricity in the markets of neighboring countries. In addition, the volumes of available imports in July decreased by 5% compared to the previous month," according to the analytical report of D.Trading.
