KYIV, July 26 – The UNESCO World Heritage Committee in its official decisions approved the wording "full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation" in the context of the causes of threats to cultural heritage sites in Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reports.
"It was possible to approve this wording when considering decisions on leaving three Ukrainian sites on the List of World Heritage Sites under threat. When the Committee decides to add an object to this list, it must clearly indicate the reasons for being included in this list. Despite the resistance of a number of countries, the Ukrainian delegation managed to achieve a clear and unambiguous formulation of the causes of threats to cultural heritage sites," the Ministry of Culture said.
