UMCC chief hopes to revive titanium market in 2025
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, July 19 – The new head of United Mining and Chemical Company (UMCC), which manages the Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (Dnipropetrovsk region) and the Irshansk Mining and Processing Plant (Zhytomyr region), Yehor Perelyhin, hopes for a revival of the titanium market in 2025.

According to a post by the acting head of UMCC on the company's website titled "Titanium Industry, Key Market Trends, PrJSC UMCC, and Today's Realities," the European Commission introduced the registration for titanium dioxide (TiO2) imported from China in June. The preliminary anti-dumping duty is set at 39.7%. A final decision is expected by the end of the year.
