KYIV, July 16 – It will take at least three years to restore the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant (Dnipro HPP) in Zaporizhia, which was shelled by the Russians on the night of June 1, 2024, Ihor Syrota, General Director of PrJSC Ukrhydroenergo, said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine on Tuesday.
"We just finished clearing the rubble yesterday. It takes time to estimate the cost of restoration. Restoring the plant to its design will take years, but at the same time it needs to be made less vulnerable to new probable attacks," he said.
