KYIV, July 11 – Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, civilian casualties in Ukraine reached at least 33,878 people as of the end of June 2024, some 11,286 of them were killed, UN Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner (OHCHR) has said.
"At least 146 civilians were killed and 672 injured in Ukraine in June. While lower than May, the overall casualty number is the second highest in 2024. The number of casualties among children in June is the highest in 2024 (with 8 children killed and 57 injured)," it said in the monthly update.
