KYIV, July 9 – In Ukraine, more than 4 million tons of winter wheat, barley and rapeseed, as well as peas have already been threshed for the 2024 harvest, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky said on the air of a single national telethon.

"This year, the harvest began two weeks later than the average, which is due to the weather factor. Now we are talking about harvesting winter barley, winter wheat and winter rapeseed. In addition, in some areas, peas have already begun to be harvested. If we look at the numbers, today, more than 4 million tons have already been threshed. The figure is increasing every day," he said.
