KIEV, Jan. 17 ??“ The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is forecasting that Ukraine's GDP will grow 4-4.5% this year and that inflation will be higher than 10%, IMF Senior Resident Representative in Ukraine Jeffrey Franks said.
"Our growth forecast is between 4% and 4.5%. This is a positive forecast, but it is a little lower than the government's forecast. Inflation could exceed 10% in 2007 if the recent energy price increase is passed on entirely to consumers," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
