ANKARA, Jan. 17 - Ukraine is ready for active involvement in the multilateral Nabucco gas pipeline project, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych said following talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Wednesday.

Ukraine will be actively involved in oil and gas pipeline projects wherever it successfully wins tenders. Ukraine has considerable potential for making gas-compressing equipment. "Therefore we will be using every possibility to take part in projects such as Nabucco," he said.
