KYIV, June 21 – The board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to consider the issue of completing the fourth review of the EFF program for Ukraine and the allocation of the fifth tranche of about $2.2 billion in the coming days, said Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyy.
“We received very good feedback on the work of the NBU and the Ukrainian team during the IMF mission in June, so we expect in the coming days the approval of the fourth review of the EFF program by the fund board,” he wrote on Facebook on Thursday after a meeting in Kyiv of the NBU board with First Deputy Managing Director of the IMF Gita Gopinath, Executive Director Paul Hilbers and Deputy Director of the IMF's European Department Uma Ramakrishnan.
