KYIV, June 13 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) plans to revise the forecast of macro indicators in July due to the worsening situation in the energy sector, in particular, an increase in the deficit in the system, NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
"Now we remain in the base scenario and forecast, which was published in April. Those indicators of electricity shortages that were announced remain, from our point of view, to a certain extent relevant, although we see certain trends associated with complications. We plan to make an appropriate revision in a month, during the July publication of the macro forecast," he said.
