KYIV, June 13 - The Vitagro group of companies will attract EUR 110 million in additional investments in the development of its biomethane plant in Khmelnytsky region and increase its capacity by 5 million cubic meters at the time of the start of biomethane production, said Serhiy Savchuk, director of development and investment of the Vitagro group of companies, at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin on Wednesday.
"We understand that by 2030, 35 million cubic meters of biomethane will be consumed in the EU. That is why we invested EUR 6 million in our first biomethane plant in Ukraine. Yesterday I spoke with our consumers in Europe, who sell our product in the EU. I sent them memorandum for additional investments in our biomethane plant,” he said.
