KYIV, June 12 – Ukrhydroenergo, which as a result of Russian attacks on the energy sector during 2023-2024 experienced 118 missile attacks on its plants and lost 45% of hydro generation, plans to restore 1 GW of capacity by the beginning of the winter period, company's general director Ihor Syrota said.
"For us, the most important thing today is to restore 1 GW of capacity by this time period. But we want to know that it will be protected in winter.
