KYIV, June 6 – Ukraine's international reserves in May, according to preliminary estimates by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), fell by 7.9%, or $3.4 billion, to $39.034 billion.
"Such dynamics were driven by the NBU's FX interventions aimed at preserving sustainability of the exchange rate and by Ukraine's FX debt repayments, which were partially offset by inflows from the placement of FX domestic government debt securities and funding from international partners," said the NBU on its website on Thursday.
