KYIV, June 6 - The energy reform matrix aims to balance short-term energy needs with long-term goals in the face of significant uncertainty.
According to information posted on the reform matrix website, solving the problem of electricity shortages requires investments to increase the capacity of the energy system.
“This includes the assistance of our partners in the construction of interconnectors to increase the capacity of cross-border connections of power grids with EU countries, as well as the construction of new thermal power plants with combined cycle gas plants, characterized by high maneuverability, decentralization of energy sources and a capacity of 2-3 GW,” the website says.
