KYIV, June 3 – The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Ukraine, having reached a staff-level agreement (SLA) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement, expect its approval by the IMF Executive Board and have access to the $2.2 billion fifth disbursement in the coming weeks.
"Previously, Ukraine has not reached the fourth review in any IMF program. Today's agreements are evidence of our dedication to reforms and changes for our country," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said late on May 31, commenting on the agreement.
