KYIV, May 31 - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) insists that all six units of the Russian-occupied Zaporizhia nuclear power plant are in a state of “cold shutdown”.
"In view of these challenging and unprecedented circumstances – with Europe’s largest nuclear power plant located in a war zone – there is an understanding that its six reactors should remain in cold shutdown for the time being,” Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said after a meeting with Alexey Likhachev, head of Russian state nuclear company Rosatom, in Kaliningrad.
