KYIV, May 29 - DiXi Group has developed several scenarios for energy supply during the summer of 2024, according to which electricity may not be available up to 21-35% of the hours, said Olena Lapenko, general manager for consulting services in the field of safety and sustainability.
According to her presentation, released during the online event "Summer Outlooks: Assessing Risk Preparedness in the Electricity and Gas Sector from DiXi Group" on Tuesday, the base case scenario includes no new significant damage to the power grid and moderate temperature conditions. According to it, the deficit of electricity during peak consumption hours can be 1.3 GW, and will be absent during minimum consumption hours.
