KYIV, May 27 – As a result of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, approximately 30% of the entire potential of the domestic agro-industrial sector has been destroyed, and 20% of agricultural land is under occupation, reported Viktor Kantsurak, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
"As a result of the full-scale war, about 30% of the entire potential of the agricultural sector has been destroyed, almost 20% of agricultural land is occupied. Large areas are mined or contaminated with explosive objects. Therefore, the issue of financing and supporting agricultural producers is more relevant than ever," the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy quoted his speech during an online workshop on financing small and medium-sized agricultural producers.
