KYIV, May 23 – The high likelihood of the continuation of the active phase of the war necessitates the preservation of significant external budget support, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said Thursday.

Currently, the budget deficit for the next year is estimated at $12-15 billion, and this issue needs to be addressed within the framework of the program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said.
