LVIV REGION, May 15 – Tobacco product manufacturer Philip Morris International officially opened a new factory in Lviv region on Wednesday, investing $30 million into the venture.

"The first line is already operational. The second line is nearing completion and will start operating around June... In total, there will be five lines producing 10 billion cigarettes, fully meeting the needs of the local market in Ukraine," said Maksym Barabash, Managing Director of Philip Morris Ukraine (PMU), at the factory's opening.
