KIEV, Jan. 15 ??“ UkrZaliznytsia, Ukraine??™s state railway, in 2007 plans to invest UAH 4.8 billion in the upgrade of railway cars, which is up 190% year-on-year, the company??™s press service reported.

Ukrzaliznytsia will spend the money to buy a total of 8,720 cargo cars, 273 passenger cars, 16 electric locomotives, two diesel locomotives, one diesel locomotive, seven rail-buses and 112 machines.
