KYIV, April 24 – On April 22, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, at the forum Demographic Future of Ukraine, presented a draft Strategy for demographic development of Ukraine until 2040, the press service of the Ministry reports.

"Building the demographic future of Ukraine is not an easy task. But this is the defining policy direction that will shape our country as an integral state. Ukraine faces many challenges today. We must simultaneously move in all directions: to raise the birth rate, support families, improve the quality of life, return migrants, build an inclusive society, etc. At the same time, it is important for us to form an idea – a dream of a country in which we want to live and which we want to build. A dream that would become an unconditional unifying foundation for all of us. And only then will we be able to make our quantum leap. And only then will it become a significant motivation for many Ukrainians to choose Ukraine as their home," said Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy.
