MOSCOW, Jan. 12 - The average contract price of natural gas for delivery from Russia to other CIS countries rose 220% in January-November 2006, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) said.

The price increased to $166 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2006, up from $52.2 in the same period of 2005, the FCS said. The average export price for gas sold to the CIS and elsewhere was $235.2 per 1,000 cubic meters, according to Interfax.
