KIEV, Jan. 12 ??“ Ukrsotsbank, Ukraine??™s No. 6 bank by assets, reported net profits rising almost 150% to UAH 289.29 million in 2006 from UAH 117.3 million in 2005 due to growing lending to individual and corporate clients.

"The last year was a record one for Ukrsotsbank in terms of gained net profit," Borys Tymonkin, bank's board chairman, said.
