KIEV, Jan. 11 - Electricity generating in Ukraine tentatively rose by 3.7% in 2006 year-on-year, to 192.13 billion kWh, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
In 2006, Ukrainian heat power plants increased electricity generation by 7.9%, and nuclear power plants (NPPs) by 1.7%, while hydroelectric power plants reduced output by 4.3%, and municipal heat power stations reduced output by 12%.
