KIEV, Jan. 11 - The largest currency inflow in Ukraine in 2006 was seen in December in the light of significant foreign borrowing, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
"The largest foreign currency inflow in the country in 2006 was seen in December. They were $9.4 billion. This was due to a significant growth in foreign corporate borrowing, along with traditional export earnings, and $610 million earnings from the placement of foreign state debt bonds by the Ukrainian government," reads the report.
