KYIV, Feb 27 - The largest private Ukrainian investment group SCM of businessman Rinat Akhmetov allocated more than UAH 32 billion (or $800 million) for capital investments and modernization in Ukraine in 2023, which is almost 52% more than in 2022.
According to a press release, the investments were made in many areas.
Thus, to ensure the energy independence of Ukraine in 2023, DTEK Group commissioned 26 new coal faces, updated more than 6,000 km of overhead lines and 2,000 energy facilities, including the overhaul of thermal power plant units and their elements after enemy shelling. Investments continued in the second phase of one of the most powerful wind farms in Eastern Europe, Tylihulska wind farm. Geological exploration, construction and drilling work was carried out at gas fields.
