KYIV, Feb 20 – The number of bank employees over the last two years decreased by 24,000, or 19.8%, and reached 97,000 at the end of 2023, according to data from a review of the banking sector by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

"For the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, banks provided reports on the number of full-time employees: it, as expected, decreased in all groups of banks," the National Bank said.
