KYIV, Feb 20 – U.S. House of Representatives legislators – Republican Brian Fitzpatrick and Democrat Jared Golden are calling on their colleagues to support an alternative version of the foreign aid bill, reports The Hill, which managed to review the congressmen's letter.

"Ukraine's position is imperiled. Its freedom fighters are running out of ammunition and withdrawing (...). This is a direct result of the Congress' gridlock," the publication said, citing a letter from legislators to colleagues.
