KYIV, Feb 12 – At the height of the heating season, DTEK Energy contracted an additional 30,000 tons of imported coal.
“Thus, the total volume of imported fuel contracted by the company for the entire autumn-winter period increased to 400,000 tons,” the energy holding said in a press release.
Of these, 268,000 tons have already been delivered to Ukraine, which makes it possible to better ensure the reliability of thermal generation and the Ukrainian energy system, especially at the peak of electricity consumption.
