KYIV, Jan 23 – The State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine plans to put up the Ukraine Hotel (Kyiv) for privatization, said the head of the Fund, Vitaliy Koval.

"The hotel has accumulated more than UAH 45 million of debt. Therefore, the Fund's plans include its privatization. The task of the State Property Fund is for any enterprise under our management to be profitable or find a new effective owner. During war, the internal reserves of the state must be used. And privatization is income to the budget from which the Defense Forces are financed, as well as jobs, new opportunities for creating businesses and developing territories," he wrote on Facebook.
